How Do I Get the Student Version of Microsoft Office?
1. Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.) and go to identity.lccc.edu. Sign in with your student Portal account. |
2. Select the tile for Office. |
3. Once inside of Office, you will see the option to download the applications on the top right side of the screen. |
4. In the new tab that opened, click “Install Office.” |
5. Open the file that was downloaded. Your computer will guide you through the installation. |
6. After installing Office, you will be asked to activate it once you launch one of the programs. Activating one program will activate all of them. Follow these instructions to activate Office: |
- Open an Office program
- If your account name is already listed, click continue. If not, select sign-in.
- Enter @lcccportal.com. Again, if it asks for an account type, select "Work or School account"
- You will be brought to the Student Portal sign-in page. Delete "@lcccportal.com" from the username field and sign in with your Portal account.
- Uncheck the box for "Allow my organization to manage my device" and continue.
- Office will now be activated. You may be asked to accept additional user agreements after activation.
